Hydrocele – Excision of sac

Urinary Bladder stones- Cystolithopexy- Accumulation of fluid in the scrotum. If the hydrocele becomes large, it can cause heaviness or a dragging sensation in the scrotum. Hydroceles can become infected, leading to redness, swelling, and pain.

Excision of sac- Excision of the sac under anesthesia is performed to remove hydrocele, which is fluid filled sac surrounding the testicle.

Post-surgery care and recovery will vary depending on the individual and the surgical technique used. Generally, patients can expect to go home on the same day or after a short hospital stay. Pain medication may be prescribed to manage any discomfort. It is important to follow the surgeon’s instructions for post-operative care, including instructions on wound care, activity restrictions, and follow-up appointments.

Hydrocelectomy is generally a safe and effective procedure for treating hydroceles. However, as with any surgical procedure, there are potential risks and complications, including bleeding, infection, scrotal hematoma, recurrence of the hydrocele, and damage to surrounding structures such as the testicle or spermatic cord.
